Things To Do In Zurich In September – Switzerland does not top the list of countries to explore in Europe. Fortunately, my travel companion at the time was very interested in seeing the Swiss Alps. Now I can’t imagine a trip without smiling on the cool hills, climbing the clouds and watching.
With less than a week to explore all that Switzerland has to offer, I knew I was going to miss some of the magic no matter how many places I went. In short, I was satisfied with the villages and towns, I visited them. Each one offers something different and each of our vacations is breathtaking.
Things To Do In Zurich In September
Interlaken was the first stop on the trip and home during my stay in Switzerland. Interlaken gets its name from the two large lakes that surround it. Interlaken is home to many young travelers and offers outdoor activities.

. If you haven’t already seen my love for this beautiful village, you can catch up here. Lauterbrunnen quickly stole my heart and became my favorite place to visit in Switzerland. With over 70 waterfalls, traditional Swiss chalets and black cows grazing on every hill, you’ll truly feel like you’ve stepped into a Swiss dream.
Grindelwald looked like a wizard in Harry Potter…which made me want to go see him. Even though I had fog in this small village, the sight alone was enough to make me cry. The frost rose within me instantly, imagining what Grindelwald must be like in the winter months. Grindelwald is a popular ski resort that offers skiing and snowboarding in Switzerland. Since my visit in the fall, I have left with these options.

One thing you will quickly notice about living in Switzerland is that it is very expensive. So in this section I will try to give you cheap and cheap options in the hope that they will help you control your money.
Zurich has been hit by the burger scene and there are many affordable burger restaurants around the city. My current favorite is B Good, but also a few smaller places like Bite and Burgermeister on Langstrasse. They all offer very tasty burgers at reasonable prices (for Switzerland).
Whether you’re vegetarian or vegan (or even if you’re not), you can head to one of Zurich’s two Hiltl buffet restaurants. They have a wide variety of food so you will find something you like. It’s often busy, so I recommend making a reservation if you’re coming at a very popular time.
Zurich Travel Essentials
There are some great new Asian food options that I recommend, China on Longstrasse – Lucky Dumpling, which serves delicious dumplings, and a cozy place called Co chin chin, which serves a variety of Vietnamese dishes. delicious. If you’re near Cocuchino, head to the New World beer bar for some of the best IPAs out there. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth stopping for a beer here.
If you arrive by plane, Zurich Airport is a 10-minute train ride from the city center. This airport has to be one of the most comfortable and well-equipped airports you will ever visit.
Although it is possible to drive in and around Zurich, I would not recommend it for most people. Better to go to the city and back by train. If you are coming from a European city or from the airport itself, the train system is easy and convenient, taking you directly to the city center at Zurich Main Station. The only thing to keep in mind is the price, so if you’re going to be traveling far around Zurich, you might want to consider a train ticket to lighten your wallet.
Zurich is a very convenient place for those who like to walk. You can get around the city center without a train ticket, but it’s not a bad idea to get a date for the city center (zone 110) so you can hop on the train ( or Playban). ), if you want to combine the fares and some attractions or take the Zurich Card.

Winter is also a good time to come, because there is snow on the ground and in the mountains, which gives a different feeling.
