With over 70 waterfalls, traditional Swiss chalets and black cows grazing on every hill, you’ll truly feel like you’ve stepped into a Swiss dream.
Grindelwald looked like a wizard in Harry Potter…which made me want to go see him. Even though I had fog in this small village, the sight alone was enough to make me cry. The frost rose within me instantly, imagining what Grindelwald must be like in the winter months. Grindelwald is a popular ski resort that offers skiing and snowboarding in Switzerland. Since my visit in the fall, I have left with these options.
However, I was a good wanderer and had a wonderful alfresco lunch with the best “I think it’s a photo shoot”. I have to say, there is something to be said for seeing this country in the warmer months. Learn more about Grindelwald in winter here.

If you’re near Cocuchino, head to the New World beer bar for some of the best IPAs out there. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth stopping for a beer here.

Zurich is at its best in the summer, which in Switzerland is July and August. The temperature varies on average between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, but often reaches 30 degrees Celsius.
