I was surprised how cute Breckenridge was. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance. And the ski slopes are within walking distance with a fast bus. Breckenridge is a quaint mountain town. Nestled in the scenic Ten Mile Mountains and the Colorado Rockies. Originally a mining town in Victorian times, it has one of the largest national historic sites in the state, with 249 historic district structures. We booked the United shuttle from Denver airport to Breckenridge and did not rent a car for this trip. We booked the United shuttle service when we booked United Airlines tickets, which was an easy add-on. Our checked bags were automatically loaded onto the bus and were waiting for us when we landed in Denver. And taking the bus to Breckenridge is convenient without the stress of renting a car and driving for two hours. There is also wifi and a bathroom on board.

Breckenridge has nearly 250 historic structures that form the backdrop to the National Register of Historic Places. Most of the historic buildings date back eight decades, beginning with the settlement of Breckenridge in the 1860s as a mining town. The last mining operation closed in 1942.
Breckenridge Ski Resort is a major attraction in Breckenridge for skiing and snowboarding. With five mountain peaks covering over 2,900 acres, Breckenridge Ski Resort is one of the best ski resorts in the world. Colorado’s Most Popular It was the first ski resort in Colorado to allow snowboarders access. Since hosting the World Snowboard Championships in 1986, this ski resort has become a venue for snowboarding and freestyle. which offers an incredible experience for skiers in the ski area.
Breckenridge Ski Resort offers 34 lifts and 187 trails for riders of all experience levels with green, blue and black runs. The ski area opens in season with new ski lifts. Thus, you can discover the open and winding terrain of Peak 7 and carve trails through the vast peaks of the ski area.
The main street has over 200 shops and 80 restaurants. We like to walk down the street! There is also a Breck Free Ride tram if you want to take a ride. Stop at the Visitor Center for a self-guided tour. or sign up for one of the many historical tours offered by the Breckenridge Visitor Center.

Soaking in a hot tub in the snow is my favorite winter activity. We bathed in the outdoor hot tub at the Residence Inn by Marriott Breckenridge overlooking the Colorado mountains. But there are several spas in Breckenridge.
Dog sledding starts around late November and early December. We really wanted to go dog sledding, but it was full in early November. But we will have to go back!

The Breckenridge Distillery is known for winning numerous awards for its whisky, vodka and spirits. Distillery tours are available seven days a week. And there’s also a free tasting tour where you can try two bottles of spirits for free.
The distillery’s daily Texas-style barbecue lunch includes tender ribs. Pulled pork sandwich Combo of smoked ribs, smoked chicken and barbecue Available daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The team put in countless hours over the course of five days (approximately 96 hours in total), resulting in a temporary outdoor gallery in historic downtown Breckenridge.
