The Manito Cliff Dwelling is an ancestral Puebloan cliff dwelling with over 700 years of history. Guests can tour the houses and learn about local history and culture.

These dwellings are preserved under the protection of red sandstone and can be explored room by room on a self-guided tour. At the Pueblo and Anasazi Museum, you can see the beautiful tools and pottery created by the people of the region.

After visiting the museum, walk around Manitou Springs, visit the shops and restaurants, or have fun at the Penny Arcade.

Standing 956 feet above the roaring Arkansas River is one of the largest historic bridges known as “America’s Bridge” built in 1929. Until 2001, the Royal Gorge Bridge was the tallest bridge in the world. It was also the tallest suspension bridge in the world until 2003.

Royal Canyon, 1,250 feet deep and more than six miles long, is affectionately known as the “Grand Canyon of Arkansas.”

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park offers a variety of activities for all levels, as well as restaurants and exhibits that tell the history of the site’s construction. This is a must see place.
