If you want to save money on hotels and activities in Fort Collins, look for hotels away from Old Town. Hotels in Old Town will be cleaner and closer to Fort Collins, but you’ll save money by traveling away from downtown. In addition to a long stay, the Colorado Hotel will allow you to store and prepare your own meals in a small kitchen.

Depending on your project, you may want to rent a car. Getting to Fort Collins from Denver International Airport takes over an hour, so an Uber or Lyft ride can be expensive. There is a shuttle bus you can take from the airport if you don’t want to rent a car.

When you stay at our downtown Fort Collins hotel, you’ll be close to restaurants, attractions, shopping and more. However, if you want to go rafting or enjoy a day at Horsetooth Reservoir, you’ll want your own car. Finding a car is a great place to start if you’re looking to rent one
