Homes For Sale In Downtown Colorado Springs – For more than a decade, my husband, Dave, and I have owned more than a dozen Victorian homes in downtown Colorado Springs. Most of them were rented from the University of Colorado, used and abused by students who did not understand the destroyed treasure.
We started on our own blog. Night after night they harassed us with street parties that lasted until morning. Across the street, a few doors down, there are two colleges for rent. One is a barrel house, the other is a pot house.

I learned what is acceptable and safe and what is not worth dealing with.
We broke down the city wall and found the gate in a perfect condition that had not been seen for decades. We fixed the water pipes and found newspapers from the late 1800s to act as insulation. Around this time, I became a real estate agent in downtown Colorado Springs, so I walked in the door when old, dilapidated houses came on the market.
