Absolutely amazing! Take a 100 year old building and turn it into such a great place to live. Again you know they always say location location location wow in this particular hotel the location is amazing the view is beautiful. The last film is said to have been shot at this location. At the same time, excellent staff, wonderful atmosphere.
This place is amazing. The purpose is a restored old saloon where you can come to share stories, drink beer and relax. New friends below, clean bed above. I highly recommend it. come back
Great people especially the owner Daniel and great staff. Room number 3 was very cold. There is nothing in the movie theater area, even for a historic hotel in Denver. Love to live. We will be back.
I love Avon. Clean rooms on the upper floor and an authentic salon below. The entire reception/bar/coffee area invites groups to join together or meet new people. Plus, it’s a one-block walk from the main drag. I will definitely come back.

The Avon is exactly as Daniel envisioned it: an adventure hotel. He had a full house the night he stayed and we met people from all over the country who were there to ski Silverton Mountain or go back country. A wide range of intelligent and interesting people: an astronaut, a priest, a software company owner, a high school student. Very fun!
I am a repeat customer and I have to say the new owner has really worked for this place. It’s a great environment with something for everyone. The rooms were clean and quiet, very friendly staff and such a cool town. I really appreciate the staff here and I feel they go above and beyond to make me feel at home. The bar is great too! Live bands, depending on the time they stay, add fun to the already cool atmosphere. This is my place to be when I’m in town and I want to spread the word to my friends and family. Check this place out, I promise you won’t regret it!

Nice place, friendly staff, good music, delicious beer. Great for dogs and will be a new place for me to stay every time I’m in Silverton. Clear juice stacks from the 1930s were also very attractive.
From the moment I entered the Avon, I felt like I was somewhere special. Julien greeted me with a smile and took me in and shortly after my complimentary check I was served a drink and soup of the day! What a way to start my mini vacation that culminated in my snow master record!
