Animas Brewing Company is a no-nonsense brewpub with Irish-inspired food, home brews and a rustic-chic cabin along the Animas River Trail. This is the best way to relax in autumn. Less is more with Animas Brewing Company and they really know how to highlight their great wines and Irish comfort food.
Molasses Pass is part of the Colorado Trail from Denver to . It descends into the valley of the Anima River and gradually descends about 1,500 feet to the Anima River. The best season to hike the nearly four-mile trail is late summer and fall, when the colors are at their peak.
With stunning views all around, Nighthorse Lake is the perfect place to bring a kayak (or rent one nearby), pack a picnic lunch, and spend a relaxing afternoon. As one of the newest man-made lakes in Colorado, located two miles southwest of the state, there is a small entrance fee and parking.

Experience the spectacular Colorado Falls on two wheels along the Anema River. The Animas River Trail is a rugged, mixed hiking and biking trail that is great for all ages and skill levels. It runs through the city center and runs 7 miles along the river.
Elbert Creek and Castle Rock Peak are hiking trails that are ideal for bird hunting. Among others, you can find interesting mushrooms such as shiitake, phoenix or honey. The colors you’ll see in the fall months can’t be compared to the rest of the year.
