Find your way on this tour, perfect for children ages seven and up. Tickets for day trips go on sale at 7:00 AM, Mon-Thurs. Until tickets are “sold out”.

Plus, the tourist-friendly city of Springs is just an hour and a half south on I-25 (traffic/weather/construction), so it’s totally worth a memorable day trip from Denver. We’ve compiled a list of our favorite free activities in Colorado Springs to round out your vacation.

With spectacular views of Denver and a reputation as one of the best concert venues in the world, Red Rocks Amphitheater is a true wonder of Mother Nature. Formed by two sandstone monoliths – Ship Rock and Creation Rock – the arena has welcomed some of the world’s biggest stars to its stage.
