Downhill Mountain Biking Colorado Springs
Aimed at both new and experienced riders, Aspen’s Snowmass Bike Park is one of Colorado’s best places to enjoy riding. Snowmass Bike Park has more than 25 miles of designated downhill trails, as well as a variety of mixed hiking and biking trails.
Trestle Bike Park (winter Park)
Starting in Snowmass Village, riders can take the Elk Camp Gondola up to about 3,000 feet to access a variety of easy, intermediate and advanced trails. Snowmass Resort is one of seven International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) World Gold riding centers, with on-site rentals and clinics to help you enjoy the action.
Each year, the Snowmass Bike Park is usually open daily from mid-June through Labor Day. After that, the park and lifts are open on weekends until early October. Throughout the summer, guests are encouraged to take advantage of “Extra Bike Nights” when gondola operations are extended to coincide with the season’s extra daylight hours.
In Routt County, the Steamboat Bicycle Park offers bicycle transportation services through Christie Peak Express in the city of Steamboat Springs. Following the same trails as some of Northern Colorado’s most famous ski areas, Steamboat Bike Park has perfect downhill trails for riders of all skill levels.
Every year, Steamboat offers a bike-lift option from mid-June through Labor Day weekend. Welcoming mountain bike enthusiasts of all ages, the resort has some of the best runs, descents, rocks, bridges and other exciting surprises.

To get the most out of your visit, private lessons, rentals and clinics are available at Steamboat Ski Resort, as well as a large network of trails for cross-country skiing and mixed trails. In total, Steamboat Bike Park has about 70 miles of mountain bike trails, with a good mix of green, blue and black trails to choose from.
Just outside of Avon, Colorado, Beaver Creek Resort stays open for business in the summer, welcoming hikers and bikers. Beaver Creek offers incredible scenery around every corner, beginner-, intermediate-, and expert-friendly passes and descents.
From Beaver Creek Village, visitors can take the Centennial Express, which terminates at Spruce Saddle Lodge at the top of the mountain. With over 600 miles of riding terrain in the area, mountain bikers of all experience levels can easily spend a day or weekend exploring Trestle’s downhill and cross-country trails. Winter Park Ski Resort offers e-bike lessons, rentals, clinics and tours, the ultimate mountain biking experience.
At Copper Mountain Ski Resort, two ski lifts operate in the summer, providing quick access to Summit County mountain biking. Bicycles are welcome at American Eagle Lift (daily) and Woodward Express (Friday-Sunday only) June-September.

Where To Learn How To Mountain Bike In Colorado Springs As A Beginner
With its unforgettable Gunnison Valley singletrack, Crested Butte Ski Resort’s bike park is pure Colorado gold. The permitted bike transport on the Red Lady Express lift allows riders to choose between green, blue and black routes, guaranteeing a variety of terrain.
Since the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame was established in Crested Butte, it should come as no surprise that the bike park is one of the top spots in the state. Bike rentals are available downtown near the Red Lady and Silver Queen Express lifts.
Formerly known as SolVista Bike Park, Granby Ranch Mountain Ski Resort is home to some of the best mountain biking in Grand County. While there is a large network of trails that run through the property, the Granby Ranch Bike Park drop-off area is located around the Quick Draw Express, giving you instant access to easy, medium and hard trails.

When it comes to man-made attractions, few resorts have as many activities as the Keystone trails. While there are plenty of fun areas designed for beginners, Keystone’s variety of boulders, bridges, ledges and waterfalls can easily accommodate seasoned riders for a full day or downhill lap.
Backed by the scenic lifts of the nearby legendary canyon, mountain biking at Telluride Ski Resort offers one of the most dramatic and rewarding downhill experiences in Colorado. With summertime gondola rides to San Sophia Station, Market Plaza and Mountain Village, there are plenty of great places to hit the slopes without breaking the bank.
To climb even higher, cyclists and hikers can use the Village Express chairlift to access various challenging terrains. Along with the lift, there are also several two-way trails leading to the summit and back, all rated for moderate and difficult.
Located in the Uncompahgre National Forest, Telluride Bike Park is open 7 days a week from mid-June to mid-September. In the fall, the mountain bike with chair lift is open on weekends until mid-October.

With a ticket, visitors can ride a quad bike to the top of the mountain, mountain bike or hike designated trails. There are also some uphill trails within the resort, and the area is actively being developed to include more mountain bike trails to enjoy in the summer and fall months.

Eagle County, Colorado has some of the most spectacular ski resorts in the state, and Vail Resort lets you spend your summer on the mountain with mountain biking trails.
