Walking distance from the Aspen Mountain Gondola is the outdoor ice rink next to the ‘CP Burger’ restaurant or for indoor ice skating, visit the Aspen Ice Garden or the Aspen Sports Center. Snowmass Base Village offers free skiing in front of the Limelight Hotel, just steps from the Elk Camp Gondola.
What better way to see the view than the gondolas at Aspen and the Snowmass Mountains. The climb is a truly beautiful experience that allows non-skiers to get to know the beauty of the mountain created by skiers and snowboarders. Both Aspen Mountain and Snowmass Mountain have mountaintop restaurants and bars with outdoor seating to enjoy the view after your gondola ride. You can also hike the trails at the top of Aspen Mountain for panoramic views.
