“I live in Utah and they have a reputation for having the best snow in the world, and a lot of people come here to ski and snowboard,” he said. “So I live just 30 minutes away. I’ll eventually go up and see what all that fuss is about.”
But that hasn’t happened in Utah for 23 years. It wasn’t until this winter that the Winter Discovery program shed all excuses.

Davis heard that the Miller Foundation provides grants under the CARES Act to organizations dedicated to promoting recreational development. He enrolled in Ski Utah’s successful fourth grade skiing program with an adult adjustment plan. In November, he was given the green light and received $70,000.
