We want you to have the best experience in Colorado, so it’s important to make sure it’s the perfect mountain bike adventure at the right challenge level for you.
You are an experienced mountain biker, regularly riding at least twice a week, comfortable: someone climbs a steep road; downhill technical singletrack with switchbacks; a rooty, off-camera wooded single track; high altitudes with low exposure; and a rock garden. This epic Colorado mountain bike tour takes you from high alpine meadows and aspen forests, through wooded mountains and into lush green valleys. When we’re in the mountains, you’ll mostly be at an altitude of 2,000m / 6,500ft, so be prepared to acclimatise to the altitude.
Pikes Peak Bike Tours (colorado Springs)
We recommend that you arrive at Snowmas the day before your tour starts so that you are ready to ride the next day, ready to ride after your time.
Your guide will meet you in the morning at the H+1 hotel of your choice in Snowmass, go through a pre-briefing every step of the way, and have coffee with everyone. It sets the tone for the week, guides you, and answers any questions you may have.
After meeting your guide, you’ll bike or set up a rental bike before following the flow of trails in and around Snowmass’ world-renowned nature trail, including the IMBA Gold Medal Riding Center. Your guide will take you through the steps to warm your feet and prepare your mind before returning to the Snowmas Hotel for your mountain barbecue dinner as the sun sets.
This morning we head to our favorite resort for breakfast and lots of fresh coffee.
Moab Mountain Biking, Utah Biking Trips And Tours
Today, we’ll leave your Aspen biking condo door open with a perfect mix of groomed trails and technical singletrack that will take you through aspen groves and open meadows full of wildflowers. In the morning we all have to get to Aspen where we have a chance to do more riding before lunch or we can call it a day here and enjoy some great food and local beer. It’s up to you!
In the afternoon, we go to Margi’s hut and spend the night in the desert. This hotel area is part of the 10th Mountain Division system and is the only high altitude experience in the country at 11,300 feet (3,450 meters).
Your guide will cook a delicious meal while you sip beer around the fire under the Colorado night sky.
This spectacular side trip takes us up over 2,700 feet to the old town of Loging Lenado before running to the Four Corners, followed by a quick descent into town.
Beer & Bike Tours — Colorado
Multiple riding options from the four corners allow us to combine trails and go longer if you’re game.
We stopped at Mark Bell to take pictures and have lunch before returning to the village of Snowmass for the night.
One of our favorite rides, Hay Park begins by climbing the shoulder of one of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain ranges, Mount Soprey. We then pass through high alpine meadows with panoramic views of the Elk Mountain Range before a quick and pleasant descent to the trail.
On the way back we stop at Capitol Creek Brewery for a cold beer before heading to Snowmass Village.

We say goodbye and have one last dinner together at Snow Mass before going to bed.
Unfortunately we are leaving Colorado today and have to say goodbye to the Aspen airport at 10am to head home.

A local instructor specializes in guiding Colorado riders and constantly evaluates these factors and makes route changes as needed to ensure that each member of the group has the best Colorado mountain bike tour experience.

You should arrive the day before you start your journey to spend one day and one night at Snowmas, allowing for some flight and train delays, ready to meet your driver the next day. Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and will be holding an H+I Adventures badge and wearing an H+I harness.
