Colorado Ski And Snowboard Expo 2016
After a day on the slopes, couples can spend a romantic evening at the Arapahoe Basin. The Valentine’s Day dance event will take place on Friday, February 14 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the 6th Alley Bar and Grill in the Arapahoe Basin. Prosecco and Salsa classes start at 19:00, followed by a 3-course dinner at 20:00. The impressive menu includes lobster tail with rock prawn risotto and baby vegetables or Colorado rack of lamb with smoked cheddar polenta, baby vegetables and red wine tomato demi-glace. Four Stamford Youths Heading To Snowboarding National Championships
Tucked away in the heart of River Run, Keystone Winter Wine Tasting is a real treat. New Orleans isn’t the only place to celebrate Mardi Gras. The festivities in the mountains begin with the Breckenridge Mardi Gras on Tuesday, February 25 at the Riverwalk Center, located at 150 West Adams Avenue. An Expert Guide To Ski And Snowboard Resorts In Colorado
Get ready to take part in the 46th annual Al Johnson Uphill/Downhill Telemark Ski Race on Saturday, March 21st at 12:00 PM at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Get out and watch as riders in their best gear prepare to conquer the mountain, climbing 660 feet vertically and 1,200 feet on double black diamond ladders. Number selection will take place at Call Breaker Coffee from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The team relay will start at noon and the individual race (main event) will start at 13:00 at the foot of the North Face Climb. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest and best dressed. As the holidays approach, Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) resorts are ready to welcome guests around the corner ready to enjoy the holiday. Colorado ski resorts offer fun family events, including a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, skiing with Santa, a light parade, gourmet food, and fireworks displays. Visitors can celebrate winter and celebrate the New Year in the snow and countryside of Colorado.
On Sunday, December 24, Santa Claus and Elf will arrive at A-Basin at 11:00 am to hand out candy to the children at A-Frame Lodge and Mountain Goat Plaza. After Santa visits the local buildings, Molly visits the kids at Hogan’s study area and then boards the Black Mountain Express to visit the guests at the Black Mountain Lodge. Santa will leave A-Basin after 13:00. The Summit County Choir Society will sing hymns at the base from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. For more information visit www.arapahoebasin.com.
On Sunday, December 10, this family event will take place in the Little Nell Yard from 5:00 pm. until 18:00 there will be free cookies, hot cocoa, toys and pictures with Santa Claus. The Aspen Animal Shelter will be located in the area with the “deer” cub. Guests can donate new and slightly worn winter clothing to the Aspen Homeless Shelter.
Skiing Colorado: Loveland Ski Area
From December 21 to 24, the North Pole will arrive at the Snowmass Mall and Base Village, where Santa himself can listen to the last minute needs of girls and boys. Free photos with Santa Claus will be offered from 14:00. until 16:00 daily on December 23-24, athletes will travel to the Snowmass Mall and Bays Village shopping centers.
