Frisco Colorado Snowboard And Ski Rentals – Frisco is at the epicenter of winter fun with eight ski and hiking resorts located four to 45 minutes from Frisco’s charming Main Street. We also have a free shuttle service from the high street to all four stations. Frisco also has a toboggan run, 17 miles of groomed Nordic trails, cross-country skiing, nearby Janet’s Cabin, and miles of public cross-country skiing and racket trails.

Frisco Colorado Snowboard And Ski Rentals
Frisco is a copper town, and Copper is Frisco’s home mountain. It’s a seven-minute drive from Frisco’s main street in Copper Mountain. The best way to get from Frisco to Copper is to take the free Summit Stage bus, which will make your trip to Copper quick and easy, with Frisco as your base camp.
Telluride Ski Rentals
Copper Mountain is gearing up for its 50th anniversary this winter, and it’s a big deal. In honor of this important milestone, Athletes Mountain will celebrate its history of supporting sporting events through various activations, promotions and 50th personalized items. In early December, the resort is hosting a 50th anniversary party to celebrate legendary characters and memorable moments from years gone by. A commemorative 50th anniversary coffee table book will be released, showcasing the resort’s past, inspired by the resort, as well as special 50th anniversary items and moments that will be offered at the resort throughout the seasons. For a station that has done the most in the last 50 years, they’re sure to celebrate this season and send it off into a tumultuous future.
The Information Center has limited hours on some holidays and is closed on January 1, Thanksgiving, and December 24-25.
Copper is a unique mountain resort with a relaxing and inclusive atmosphere that represents the best of Colorado. The elevators are good. There are tons of great places to grab a beer and a bite to eat. There is free skating in the Central Village (bring your skates). In winter and summer, the Rocky Mountain Slides wind through the forests at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour, making it one of the longest alpine slides in North America. Summer in Raggi can be better than winter, with golf, mountain biking, hiking, and just relaxing with the beautiful ambiance of the Colorado summer mountains.

Keystone Electric Bike Rentals & Ski Rentals
Frisco Adventure Park Beginner Ski and Ride Hill Policy Frisco Beginner Ski and Ride Hill is just 4 minutes from Frisco’s main street. This beginner hill is reminiscent of the friendly community hills of yesteryear, where families learned to ski and ride together, and the clubhouse and parking lot are steps down the hill. The hill was founded in 2010 with that throwback vibe, and new skiers and snowboarders will find it uncrowded and full of learning opportunities.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling 970-668-2558. A limited number of tickets are offered each day and often sell out. The ski and hiking center is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Just seven minutes from Frisco’s Main Street, Copper Mountain is Frisco’s big mountain, where you’ll find many Frisco and Summit County residents skiing on 140 trails, 23 lifts and 2,490 skiable acres. Here in Summit County, Copper is known as the “local mountain” or “skier/rider mountain” because of its welcoming atmosphere and incredible terrain that truly offers something for every level of skier.
Just 15 minutes down the road, Breckenridge Ski Resort needs no introduction as one of the most visited ski resorts in North America. A 2013 expansion at Peak 6 added 540 acres of scenic land to a total of 2,908 acres. The upper bowls of Peak 8 offer great skiing and great views of the valley, and the peak can also be seen from Copper Mountain to the west.
Frisco Ski Rentals
A 20-minute drive will bring you to Keystone, Summit County’s largest resort, offering 3,148 acres of skiing. While skiing and riding are inherently great family fun, Keystone takes it to a whole new level with dedicated indoor parking for families, red equipment rental carts, and daily Kidtopia activities for the munchkins.
20 minutes in the other direction will bring you to Loveland Ski Resort, a mountain with a casual atmosphere, great views and 1,800 acres of beautiful terrain. There are no trails or long hikes to the lifts – just pure, spectacular skiing and riding.
25 minutes will bring you to Arapahoe Pool, known to many hobbyists as “Pool A” or “Pool”. No condos or flashy pool boutiques, just pure on-snow fun with nine lifts and over 1,400 acres of skiing.
30 minutes above Vail Pass is Vail Mountain at 5,289 acres. It’s a skiing and riding scene that will turn your legs into spaghetti. Weil usually ties with Breckenridge for the most visited resort in North America, and if you imagine stylish shops, wonderful people and a fun après-ski scene, you’re pretty much right.
Ski & Snowshoe Rentals
Beaver Creek covers 1,800 acres of land about 45 minutes from Frisco, and you can often find untouched land days after a storm. And if you’ve never gotten a free hot chocolate cookie after skiing here, you haven’t really lived. Beaver Creek has the ability to combine luxury and sport in a way that is unusual even for mere mortals. The Frisco Nordic Center is closed for the 2022/23 season. Thanks for a great season and we look forward to next winter. The planned opening date is Thanksgiving 2023, snow conditions permitting.
If you enjoy outdoor winter sports, you’ll have fun at the Frisco Nordic Center. The North Center is located on Colorado Highway 9 south of Main Street toward Breckenridge in the Peninsula Recreation Area.
A cozy lodge surrounded by magnificent snow-capped peaks, the Frisco Nordic Center offers ice skating, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in a pristine alpine environment. You will find 28 km of ski runs and 8 km of snowshoe tracks.
The Frisco Nordic Center also offers gear rentals, lessons and clinics, and daily ski tuning during the winter season, which typically runs from Thanksgiving to mid-April. We offer day passes, punch cards and season passes for Nordic Center routes.

The terms “Nordic skiing” and “ski racing” are often used interchangeably. Classics and skates are two different styles under the umbrella of Nordic skiing. The terms “downhill skiing” or “downhill skiing” refer to a type of skiing in ski resorts with lifts, such as Copper Mountain. Nordic skiing and alpine skiing are great fun, but very different.
Whether you want to bring your own gear and do your own thing on our cross-country ski and snowshoe trails, or rent gear and learn a winter sport or two, we’ve got you covered. The Frisco Nordic Center offers skiing lessons and clinics for individuals and groups who want to learn classic skiing or skating.

Here in Frisco, we all like to be a little quirky, and maybe you do too. If so, we also offer skijoring lessons for experienced skiers and their dogs. Yes, indeed. You and your dog(s) can learn this age-old sport where dogs pull their humans across the desert on cross-country skis.
We also offer guided snowshoe hikes for children ages 8 and up, where your guide will lead you through the peaceful quiet of our wooded snowshoe trails.
