Crested Butte Colorado Mountain Biking – Crested Butte is known as home to some of the best mountain biking trails in Colorado. Crested Butte’s historic trails (such as Trail #401 and Teokalee Ridge) consistently rank among the world’s best mountain bike trails. These popular trails are just as informative, but with more than 800 miles of single trails in the Gunnison Valley. There are some great trails that most people don’t know about. To help you plan your summer trip to Crested Butte; We’ve featured three top bike trails you’ve probably never heard of. Not yet an expert rider. The Mogul Storage Trails are the newest trails in Crested Butte. There are two paths—a medium flight path and a forward jump path. They are the only downhill trails in Crested Butte, outside of the lift trails at Crested Butte Mountain Bike Park, as there are only two downhill trails. The trails can be accessed by hiking the Baxter Gulch Trail. The Baxter Gulch trailhead is located west of Highway 135, one mile south of the town of Crested Butte. Park in the small parking lot near the trailhead or ride through town. Baxter Gulch is about a mile up. There are two changes at the top of the transition. The first one is for the high jump line and the second one is for the medium flight line.

Things To Do In Crested Butte
Strawberry Road is in the eastern shadow of the town of Crested Butte. This steep and difficult trail passes through coniferous forests and boulders covered in rocks and roots. Most services have multiple line options for different power levels.
To get there Take Highway 135 to Brush Creek Road. Park at the Brush Creek Trailhead. Please note that there is no parking on this road as well as on Brush Creek Road. There are many ways to get strawberries into the nest; But here’s an idea: Go a mile or so east on Brush Creek Road. Take Canal Trail and turn right onto Farris Creek Trail. From Farris Creek, turn left (north) onto Strawberry Road. Strawberry Brush ends at Creek Road. Follow the path west until you see a fork on the left. Death Pass (not as scary as it sounds) takes you back to the Strand Trail System. Ride the canal or boardwalk bonus to Brush Creek Road and return to your vehicle.
Route #409.5 is difficult to reach but worth the effort. This road is about three miles long from south to north. (I don’t recommend running the other way.) The highway is full of big spots on tree roots. It’s not very technical, but it’s steep and fast moving. I bet you’ll be crying as the trail starts in the grass and descends to the meadow along the Farris Creek trailhead. You share this road with electric bikes and motorbikes.
The easiest way to get to 409.5 is to take the Farris Creek Trail (#409) from Farris Creek Road. Then hike the Lookout Point Trail. The hike is about eight miles long, so it is not a hike for the faint of heart. Another way to get to 409.5 is the trail on Cement Creek Reservoir. Climb two holes on the dark side from Wallroad to the Wall Trail (Trail #412) or take the Farris Creek Caves Trail to Point Lookout. which way to go Just climbing. But you’re in for some of the best riding in the Gunnison Valley.

There are several ways you can reach the 401 Trail. It depends on the level of challenge you want to take on your cycling trip and availability.
To reach 401; You can drive from Crested Butte on Gothic Road and park your car in the Copper Creek parking lot. Be sure to stop by Gothic Ghost Town while you’re in the area. It’s 7.5 miles from the parking lot and 4.5 miles on your bike to Schofield Pass.
If you want, you can go 12 miles by bike. Finally, you can transfer onto the track.
– Turn right at Schofield Pass and climb a mile and a half through the forest through a fire pit. The higher you go, The easier it is to climb. The climb is not too difficult. However, living at 11,000 feet above sea level can be very difficult. Going up hard pays off when you have to go down.

You start the second pitch by crossing the bridge, crossing the meadow and climbing back. But this time the rock climbing is more difficult and technically difficult.
