Everyone loves a parade, and downtown Denver boasts its fair share. Thousands of locals and tourists gather downtown to sit in front of the three Mile High towers during the winter. It begins with a spectacular holiday show at the 9NEWS Parade of Lights weekend, scheduled for 6 p.m. December 3, 2022. This night parade features marching bands, floats and appearances by Major Waddles, Penguin and Santa Claus.
Did you miss the parade? Take a walk or drive around the Mile High City. Holiday lights, especially on city and county buildings, will bring smiles to children of all ages.

Texas Longhorn cattle are paraded through downtown streets in January during the annual Rodeo Parade at the National Western Stockshow and Rodeo.
