Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) ski areas host events and activities throughout the spring, including free concerts, pond skating, competitions and even kayak races. Arapahoe Basin celebrates its final weekend of live music on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 at Mountain Goat Plaza. Après is a new three-day music and mountain festival taking place over the weekend in the snow at the foot of Buttermilk. Players include, for example, Umphrey McGee and The Sting Cheese Incident. In addition to musical performances, all four Aspen Snowmass mountains are open for skiing, horseback riding and spring festivals.

Monarch Mountain’s signature event, Kicks in the Snow, features all-day family fun. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., kayakers race head-to-head like ski cross on a specially designed course of benches, benches and debris that ends in an ice pool.
