Colorado Ski Areas Will Celebrate End Of Ski Season With Extensions And Events

Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) ski areas host events and activities throughout the spring, including free concerts, pond skating, competitions and even kayak races. Après is a new three-day music and mountain festival taking place over the weekend in the snow at the foot of Buttermilk. Players include, for example, Umphrey McGee and The Sting Cheese Incident. Monarch Mountain’s signature event, Kicks in the Snow, features all-day family fun. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., kayakers race head-to-head like ski cross on a specially designed course of benches, benches and debris that ends in an ice pool.
