Breckenridge is not only a dream come true, it’s also a mecca for all types of cyclists, from road, mountain, cruiser and everything in between. The adventure begins south of town with a short educational stop at a designated area as you make your way to the Blue River Rec Path. This unique trail takes place year-round and offers some of our nation’s best views as it winds its way across Breckenridge along the famous Blue River. When you arrive at the Breckenridge Distillery in Breckenridge, you’ll be able to fill up on booze before cycling back into town.
In the 1800s, the Country Boy Mine was one of the largest and most famous gold mines in Colorado. Today you can go underground on a tour of the original mine, pet donkeys, slide down an ore chute and pan for gold.
