The Denver Art Museum is just ten minutes from the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. The buildings are works of art in themselves, but there are also many collections that rotate throughout the year. A new collection, Age of Armour, will be released at The Gathering in June and will focus on how armor was created.

The Denver Botanic Gardens is an 8-minute Uber/Lyft ride from the hotel. Always a spectacular sight with a wide range of plant species from tropical to desert and even aquatic species, the Botanic Garden has a summer concert series that offers great live music in a beautiful setting.

The Denver Zoo is 11 minutes or an Uber/Lyft ride from the Sheraton. Fun for all ages with a huge display of animals big and small.
Meow Wolf This exciting new interactive museum is less than a minute away from Mile-High Station, which is hosting an event on Monday evening, June 6.
Union Station is a historic landmark within walking distance of the venue. First opening its doors in the 1800s as the largest building in the West, Union Stations provided guests with travel and luxury for a time.
A nine-minute drive from the Sheraton is Coors Field, Denver’s center of action during baseball season. Even when there isn’t a game on, the gift shop and part of the stadium are open to visitors. The Nationals Ballpark Museum is a short distance from the stadium and is the only stop in the history of the baseball stadium.

Across from Coors Field, McGregor Field is a great place to hang out and relax. McGregor Square has it all: outdoor movies, music, food and drink.
Washington Park is a 13-minute Uber/Lyft ride from the hotel. The park is known for its wide green spaces and benches perfect for people-watching. It is a great place to go for a walk and enjoy the beautiful weather. There are two large lakes in the park where sailing boats and boat rentals are available.
Located outside the doors of the Denver Sheraton, the 16th Street Mall features 42 outdoor cafes and restaurants, a movie theater and shops. A great place to shop, eat and enjoy street performers and other vendors.

2022 Summer Art Market, Sunday, August 28, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Art Students League of Denver, 200 Grant St. Nothing says summer better than the Art Student League of Denver Summer Art Market outside the city of Denver, featuring affordable artwork from 95 Colorado vendors. In addition to the art, customers can enjoy food, beer, Sweet Action ice cream and art demonstrations by teachers in a variety of subjects. Glenn Kurtz discovers a world of hidden history captured from the smiling faces of members of the Jewish community in Nasilsk, Poland when he discovers a 16mm film taken by his grandfather during a visit to the Poland in 1938. A year later, the citizens of these cities were deported and eventually landed in the Treblinka concentration camp. Kurtz turned the documentary into a book, encouraging filmmaker Bianca Stigter to follow in his footsteps, showing the lives of the people in each frame. Theater of the Mind has been waiting a long time to land in Denver, but David Byrne has an amazing job. Based on a personal story by creator Mala Gaonkar, it will finally debut at the 15,000-square-foot York Street gardens. Don’t expect Byrne to follow you and lead you; he did his job. There is no view. Instead, one of Off-Center’s select guides guides visitors through a thoughtful process, enhanced by immersive views and immersive activities that engage all the senses.
